AMG Meeting
Electrical Contractors’ Association of Maharashtra, ECAM, Konkan Region’s 4th Annual Meeting was held at Mahesh Lunch Home and Banquet Hall, Plot No. 85, Sector -15, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400614, on August 12, 2023, at 1700 hours, the meeting was presided over by Mr. Ulhas Vajre – Chairman, Mr. Vithal Jhaveri – Vice Chairman, Mr. Vasant Gadre -Secretary, Mr. Suresh Pote – Jt. Secretary, and Mr. Aniket Bhise – Treasurer and attended by the members of the ECAM Konkan Region.
The Occasion was graced by Mr. Waman Bhure, President ECAM, Mr. Yogesh Pawar – Jt. Secretary, ECAM, Mr. Nilesh Tivramkar – Chairman ECAM Thane Region, Mr. Kothawale and other dignitaries.
After the meeting, Product cum knowledge sharing seminar was conducted by M/s. Usha Sriram, wherein information regarding their various electrical products was shared with the delegates.
ECAM Konkan Region Chairman, Mr. Ulhas Vajre, Briefed the ECAM members about the Central Electricity Authority (Measures Relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations 2023, and stressed the importance of implementing these regulations to minimize the electrical accidents.
The program was followed by dinner and cocktail
1.Conducted product cum knowledge sharing seminars for the benefits of fellow Contractors, some of the seminars are:
2.kVAh billing and understanding Electricity Bills
3.External Lightning Protection System and earthing for Industrial, Commercial and Residential facilities
4.Internal Lightning Protection systems, including Surge Protection Devices and Ground Protection systems.
5.Visit to EI, Pen, Dist. Raigad and held discussions regarding guiding our contractors for safe and legally compliant installations, to which EI Mr. Chavan has agreed. Seminar will be held in near future.
With a purpose to impart knowledge to our contractor fraternity in this region, which will help grow their businesses, various products as well as knowledge sharing seminars have been arranged on different topics pertaining to electrical Engineering.
